House Rules
To help ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay for all guests and neighbours, we kindly ask that the following house rules are respected during your stay and while enjoying the surrounding community and shared residential areas.
RESPECT OUR NEIGHBOURS
Please keep noise to a minimum, particularly between:
10:00pm – 7:00am

MAXIMUM GUESTS
A maximum of six registered guests may stay overnight at the cottage.
Visitors must be approved in advance.

GUEST NUMBERS
Cliff St. Cottage accommodates a maximum of six guests, including children and infants.
Only guests included in the reservation may stay overnight at the property.
​
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS
Gatherings, parties and functions are strictly prohibited.
​
PARKING
Off-street parking is available for up to two vehicles only.
Please do not block neighbouring driveways or the shared access driveway.
​
SMOKING
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the cottage.
​​​
CARE FOR THE COTTAGE
Please treat the cottage, furnishings and gardens with care and respect throughout your stay.
​
DAMAGE & BREAKAGES
Please notify us immediately if any damage or breakages occur during your stay.
SAFETY
For guest safety, smoke alarms, emergency information and fire equipment are provided throughout the cottage.

PET POLICY
We’re delighted to welcome your furry family member to Cliff St. Cottage. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, the following pet policy applies.

PET APPROVAL

One small dog is permitted by prior approval only

Guests must advise breed and pet name at time of booking

A pet fee of $75 applies

PET BEHAVIOUR
Pets must:

be house trained
-
be healthy and flea-free
-
be registered and/or microchipped
-
not display aggressive behaviour
-
not create excessive noise or barking
​
PETS INSIDE OF THE COTTAGE
Pets are welcome inside the cottage and fenced garden area, however:

pets are not permitted on furniture or beds
-
guests must provide their own pet bedding and bowls
-
pets must not be bathed in the cottage bathroom
​
CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES
Guests are responsible for:
-
cleaning up after their pet
-
disposing of waste appropriately
-
removing pet hair, food and pet waste before departure​
​
DAMAGE & ADDITIONAL CLEANING
Any pet-related damage or additional cleaning requirements must be reported and may incur additional charges.

RESPECTFUL PET STAYS
We kindly ask all pet owners to ensure their pets are supervised, respectful of neighbours and cared for responsibly throughout their stay.
