Terms & Conditions of Occupancy

By proceeding with a reservation, guests agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, relaxing and enjoyable stay for all guests and neighbours of Cliff St. Cottage

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

  • Check-in: From 2:00pm

  • Check-out: By 10:00am

Please respect departure times to allow preparation for incoming guests

MINIMUM NIGHT STAY

A minimum stay of three (3) nights applies to all bookings.

GUEST NUMBERS

Cliff St. Cottage accommodates a maximum of six guests, including children and infants.

 

Only guests included in the reservation may stay overnight at the property.

PRIMARY BOOKING GUEST

The primary booking guest must:

  • be over 18 years of age

  • stay at the property for the duration of the booking

  • accept responsibility for all guests and visitors during the stay

PAYMENTS & DEPOSIT

A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

Direct bookings may require a 25% refundable deposit payable to the nominated account. Bookings made through third-party booking platforms are subject to the payment policies of that platform.

CANCELLATIONS

  • Full refund available for cancellations made more than 14 days before check-in

  • 50% refund available for cancellations between 7–14 days before check-in

Booking platform fees may be non-refundable.

HOUSE RULES

All guests and visitors are required to respect the House Rules, property, neighbours and surrounding community during their stay. By confirming a booking, guests agree to comply with all Terms & Conditions and any instructions provided by management to ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all.

QUIET ENJOYMENT

To respect our neighbours and surrounding community, quiet hours apply between:

10:00pm – 7:00am

Excessive noise, offensive behaviour and antisocial conduct are strictly prohibited.

PARTIES & EVENTS

Parties, gatherings and functions are not permitted at the property.

Unauthorised events may result in immediate eviction without refund.

VISITORS

Visitors must be approved in advance by management.

A maximum of ten persons are permitted on the property at any one time, including registered guests.

SMOKING

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the cottage.

PARKING 

Off-street parking is available for up to two vehicles.

Please do not:

  • park on neighbouring verges

  • block the shared driveway

  • park boats, caravans or trailers onsite

PET FRIENDLY STAY

One small dog is welcome by arrangement.

Guests must advise:

  • dog breed

  • dog name

  • confirmation of pet attendance

A $75.00 pet fee applies at time of booking.

DAMAGES & BREAKAGE

Guests are asked to treat the cottage with care and respect.

Please notify management immediately if any damage or breakages occur during your stay.

Guests may be responsible for repair or replacement costs where required.

CLEANING

A professional cleaning fee of $175.00 per stay, applies to each booking.

Additional cleaning charges may apply for:

  • excessive rubbish

  • dirty dishes

  • emptying the fridge

  • excess cleaning requirements

Guests are asked to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition upon departure.

Rubbish should be placed in the bins provided within the garage area.

SAFETY & EMERGENCIES

The safety and wellbeing of our guests is important to us. Cliff St. Cottage is equipped with smoke alarms, fire extinguishers and emergency information for your peace of mind. Guests are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the emergency procedures and contact information provided within the cottage upon arrival.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

In an emergency please call Triple Zero (000).

Emergency information and evacuation details are provided inside the cottage.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY

For urgent medical assistance:

  • Call 000 and request an ambulance

  • Provide the property address:

15 Cliff Street, Albany WA 6330

Please provide details of:

  • the injury or illness

  • number of people requiring assistance

  • nearest entrance access

FIRE EMERGENCY

If a fire occurs:

  1. Evacuate immediately

  2. Call 000 and request the Fire Department

  3. Provide the property address and fire location

LIABILITY

Guests are responsible for the security of their personal belongings during their stay.

Cliff St. Cottage is not liable for any loss, theft or damage to personal property.

COMPLIANCE

Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions or House Rules may result in:

  • termination of the booking

  • immediate eviction

  • additional charges for damages or cleaning
